These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at energyplushomeimprovements.com (the “Site”), operated by Energy Plus Home Improvements, LLC (“EPHI,” “Energy Plus,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Site.
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Site.
Your use of the Site constitutes your acknowledgment that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms, as they may be updated from time to time. If you are accessing the Site on behalf of an entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
Energy Plus Home Improvements, LLC is a family-owned, licensed home improvement contractor headquartered in Riverdale, Michigan, providing residential improvement services throughout Mid-Michigan since 1971. Our service lines include roofing, siding, windows, doors, stone, decks, gutters, gutter guards, insulation, crawlspace encapsulation, bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling, basement finishing, additions, storm damage repair, and related home improvement services. Services performed by EPHI are governed by a separate written contract executed between you and EPHI, not by these Terms.
EPHI maintains all licensure required to perform the services it offers in the State of Michigan. License information is available upon request by calling (989) 833-1000.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Site. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, photographs, illustrations, logos, icons, designs, audio, video, software, layout, look and feel, and the compilation thereof (collectively, the “Content”), is the property of EPHI or its licensors and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, trade dress, patent, and other intellectual property laws.
The EPHI name and logo, the slogan “Built Right. Backed for Life.”, and all related product, service, program, and tool names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Energy Plus Home Improvements, LLC. These include, without limitation:
You may not use any of our trademarks without our prior written permission. All other trademarks, service marks, and trade names referenced on the Site — including those of our manufacturer partners such as GAF, CertainTeed, Atlas, LP SmartSide, Royal, ProVia, Therma-Tru, TAMKO, Trex, TimberTech, Fiberon, Deckorators, Delta, and CleanSpace — are the property of their respective owners.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include any right to resell, modify, reproduce, or create derivative works from any portion of the Site.
Information regarding products, services, pricing, promotions, and financing displayed on the Site — including pricing generated by EP SmartQuote+™, the EP Photo Estimator™, the ROI Calculator, and the Financing Calculator — is for informational and ballpark estimating purposes only and is subject to change at any time without notice. No content on the Site constitutes a binding offer to perform services or supply products.
Estimates and quotes provided by EPHI through the Site, by phone, by text, by email, or in person are non-binding until reduced to a signed written contract executed by both you and an authorized EPHI representative. Estimates are typically valid for a stated period and may be revised based on actual site conditions, material availability, scope changes, or other factors discovered upon inspection or during the course of work.
Financing options referenced on the Site are offered through third-party lenders, are subject to credit approval, and are governed by separate agreements between you and the lender. EPHI is not a lender and does not extend credit.
Submitting a contact form, requesting an estimate, scheduling an appointment, or using any online tool on the Site does not create a contractual relationship between you and EPHI. A contractual relationship is established only upon execution of a written agreement by both parties. EPHI reserves the right to refuse service or decline a project at its sole discretion.
EPHI provides services primarily within an approximately 50-mile service radius from our headquarters in Riverdale, Michigan, covering Alma, Mt. Pleasant, Midland, Saginaw, Bay City, Lansing, and over 140 surrounding Mid-Michigan communities. While we strive to accommodate requests outside this area, we cannot guarantee service availability beyond our standard service territory. Geographic limitations, scheduling, and project minimums may apply.
If you submit photographs, project descriptions, reviews, testimonials, comments, or other content to us through the Site, through EP Photo Estimator™ or other online tools, by email, by social media, or by any other means (“User Submissions”), you grant EPHI a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such User Submissions in any media for marketing, advertising, training, AI-powered assessment, and operational purposes, including for use in social media posts, case studies, advertisements, and on the Site.
You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to any User Submissions you provide, that the User Submissions do not infringe any third-party rights, and that the User Submissions are accurate and not misleading.
Testimonials, reviews, and case studies displayed on the Site reflect the genuine experiences of EPHI customers. Individual results, project timelines, costs, and outcomes vary based on property conditions, product selections, scope, and other factors. Past performance is not a guarantee of future results.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including manufacturer pages, financing partners, review platforms (such as Google and the Better Business Bureau), and social media. We provide these links solely for your convenience. EPHI does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or operations of third-party sites. Your use of any linked third-party site is at your own risk and is subject to the terms and privacy policies of that site.
Product specifications, warranties, and performance claims for manufacturer products referenced on the Site are based on information supplied by the manufacturer. Manufacturer warranties are administered directly by the manufacturer and are subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, and registration requirements of that manufacturer.
Content on the Site — including any pricing, measurements, or recommendations generated by EP SmartQuote+™, the EP Photo Estimator™, or other automated tools — is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute professional engineering, architectural, structural, legal, financial, insurance, or other professional advice. Site conditions vary; project recommendations must be based on an on-site inspection by a qualified EPHI representative. Do not rely on Site content as a substitute for professional consultation.
THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT, MATERIALS, AND INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EPHI DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
EPHI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT THE INFORMATION ON THE SITE IS ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR CURRENT.
Nothing in this section disclaims any product warranty or workmanship warranty issued under a signed written contract between you and EPHI (including the EP Protection Plan™ or EP Protect+™), or any manufacturer warranty issued directly by a product manufacturer.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL EPHI, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUBCONTRACTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, EVEN IF EPHI HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL EPHI’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100.00). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU IN FULL.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless EPHI and its officers, directors, members, employees, agents, subcontractors, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of or access to the Site; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property, privacy, or proprietary right; or (d) any User Submission you provide to EPHI.
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be filed exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Isabella County, Michigan, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
Before initiating any legal action, you agree to first contact EPHI in writing at the address in Section 21 and attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally for a period of at least thirty (30) days. EPHI reserves the right, but is not obligated, to require binding arbitration or mediation of any dispute under separate signed agreements (such as a services contract). Nothing in this section shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief.
EPHI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, without notice or liability, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access and use the Site will immediately cease. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including, without limitation, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification) shall survive.
EPHI reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time at its sole discretion. Revised Terms will be posted on the Site with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after the posting of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. You are responsible for reviewing these Terms periodically.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect, and the invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to render it enforceable while preserving its intent.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by EPHI on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between you and EPHI concerning your use of the Site. Any signed written services contract between you and EPHI shall govern the performance of services and shall control over these Terms with respect to the subject matter of that contract.
