FAQs

Why should I re-side my home?

New siding will provide curb appeal, rejuvenate an older home, give it a completely new look, and significantly reduce the cost for home upkeep and maintenance.

How can I tell if my current siding needs to be replaced?

Signs of siding that are beginning to go bad include things like fading, chalking, separation at the seams, warping, and moisture appearing on the inside of your home.

Is all the old siding removed before installation begins?

Ideally, no; only as much siding as can be replaced in a reasonable amount of time should be removed from your home during the installation process. This way, if the job needs to be continued over several days, your home is not left bare to the elements.

Is removing all the old siding necessary?

Removing all the old siding is not always necessary when your home is being re-sided. It depends on what has been previously installed, what you are having installed now, and what shape your siding is currently in.

How long should a siding job take?

Every house is different, but a typical tear-off and Midland siding installation project may take between 7 to 14 days. There are many things that can extend the time such as the size of your house, if we are installing a decorative siding such as shake and if we are doing any soffit and/or fascia.

What will a new siding cost?

$350 a sq to $1500 a square.
